With additional glass tubes you always have some in stock while used ones can go to the dishwasher – or, in case of breaking, you just continue with a shiny new glass tube.
The rubber rings tend to last for very long (especially if you treat them with some plant oil every now and then), but spare ones will come in handy at some point.
Also, you will find extra corks here for closing your glasses. Quick tip: Trenching them in oil will make them even more smell proof.
- Clean the wooden parts with alcohol or plant oil. Never with water! Use the included cleaning tool for gently scraping the chamber and poking through air channels.
- Metal parts can be soaked, rinsed and cleaned with water, soap, alcohol, ..
- Glass parts can go into the dishwasher and be treated like regular glassware.
- Wood loves oil! Show your piece some love and gently rub it with some (preferably organic) plant oil such as olive or linseed oil (works best), nut oils, sunflower oil, ..
