How to load, use and clean a glass blunt
A Sir Winston's glass blunt pairs a sliding glass tube with a wooden body. Here's how we fill and care for ours in the studio.
Adjust and fill
Twist and slide the glass tube to the length you want. Fill it with ground herb, tamping it to a medium firmness rather than packing it hard.
Light and adjust
Turn the glass blunt slowly as you light it for an even burn. As ash builds up, twist and slide the wooden body into the tube to push the ash out.
A little room to breathe
After filling, twist the tube forward a little to leave space between the herb and the wooden body. This creates a visible smoke chamber, so you can watch the smoke flow through.
Clean the glass tube
After use, wipe the glass tube with a paper towel. You can then put the tube in the dishwasher, or clean it more effectively with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol. Keep the wooden body out of the dishwasher and away from alcohol; these cleaning steps are for the glass tube.
